Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain for the US women's Olympic gymnastics the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as in the year 2016. the Final Five. In 2012, she was awarded gold medals in team competitions as well as the floor workouts. In the balance beam, Raisman was awarded a bronze. She was the first American to be awarded the most Olympic medals. In 2016, the Olympics saw her win a gold at the team competition, which earned both she as well as Gabby the distinction of being the first Americans to ever win consecutive team golds. She also won silvers in the individual all around event and floor exercises. She took a three-year break between the two Olympics from gymnastics competition. Also, she was a member of the gold medal winning American teams in two World Championships. Her most favorite sport is floor exercise. Gymnastics was her first sport she began to learn when she was two years old. Aly is a member of an organization called the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who died due to cancer. She is planning to pursue an occupation in fashion and hopes to broaden her signature line of leotards and socks in future. Fierce is a book that she plans to release later in the year.
